Baklouti Chili, Black Bean Dip
¼ cup GARLIC OLIVE OIL*
¼ cup BAKLOUTI CHILI OLIVE OIL*
2 (15.5 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed & drained
1 ½ tsp HIMALAYAN PINK SALT*
½ tsp ground cumin
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice, more if desired
A few tablespoons of water if necessary
¼ cup fresh chopped cilantro, plus more for garnish
Add ingredients to food processor or blender. Blend until smooth (you may need to stop and stir a few times) If the dip is too thick, add a bit of water or lime juice to thin it out. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired, then transfer to a serving bowl. Serve warm, cold or room temperature with chips, pita, vegetables and more!
NOTES: The heat comes from the Baklouti chili olive oil, so if you prefer mild, replace with another flavored olive oil or simply double the garlic olive oil used and omit Baklouti. Delicious with many different flavors of olive oil, try your favorite!
