Roasted Vidalia Onions
Flavored Olive Oil* (try Cilantro and Roasted Onion, Tuscan Herb or Chipotle)
Traditional Dark Balsamic* (also delicious with Lavender or Blackberry Ginger)
Italian Herbal Sea Salt*
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Slice Vidalia onions into THICK slices. On a foil-lined baking sheet, coat onion slices in oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake, turning once, until soft and lightly caramelized, about 15 minutes.
Remove onion from roasting pan. Drizzle Balsamic Vinegar over the existing oil and juices remaining in the roasting pan. Stir Balsamic and juices together. Pour the mixture over baked onions.
